How to Sponsor an Event

If you have an idea for an event you wish to sponsor, simply contact a member of the operating committee and let them know you wish to sponsor an event. Provide a written description of the event, including details such as date, time, location, directions, any fees, and a contact person with phone number and/or email address. The operating committee can determine if another event is already being sponsored on the same day.

  • Talk to a couple who hosted an event you enjoyed. (It’s OK to co-sponsor an event, too.)
  • Check out the world wide web.
  • Look in the entertainment section of the newspaper.
  • Eavesdrop on what your co-workers did last weekend and find out if they had fun.
  • Check the events board at bookstores.
